About Us:
In 1998, Trevor Rogers - founder of Dragonfire Studios started working in a piercing shop in Johannesburg as a part time job over weekends. During this time he learned all the correct do's and don'ts regarding piercing such as the correct methods of sterilization and the different types of jewellery. Not long after Trevor started doing some piercings off his own.
Already in the trade and eager to learn more Trevor heard of an opening of a well known tattoo artist's tattoo shop in an up-market shopping centre, and that he needs a new apprentice. Trevor saw this as the oppertunity he was waiting for and presented he's portfolio of drawings and paintings to the owner of the new shop. The owner of the shop was so impressed that he hired Trevor right there on the spot and the rest is sweet ink history...
After gaining knowledge and experience Trevor decided to follow a dream of having his own professional tattoo studio and in December 2001 he made that dream a reality and that is how Dragonfire studios were born...
